Events at the Center

The Harriet Tubman Freedom Center for Cultural and Educational Advancement is more than a museum—it’s a gathering place where history, art, and community come alive. From flavorful tastings that celebrate cultural traditions, to guided tours that immerse you in Harriet Tubman’s legacy, to thought-provoking talks with artists and historians, every event is designed to inspire and connect. With  exhibits that keep the experience fresh and ever-evolving, there’s always something new to discover.

 "Underground Underwater"

Underground Underwater follows Harriet Tubman’s freedom paths across land and water now under threat. As rising tides and eroding ground endanger these sacred landscapes, the project calls us to witness what is being lost—and to act before the stories disappear
